Biointel is a one-person healthcare and B2B copy shop fronted by me, Bill Abramovitz. I work as a freelancer on projects for clients and agencies. Sometimes I handle overflow for frazzled internal groups, fill in during vacations, or assist companies, startups, and nonprofits that don't yet have a copywriter on staff. Every client is unique, but it helps that I've handled a wide range of projects throughout my 25-year career, from large companies like LexisNexis to small businesses like Meemaw's homemade cookies.

Most of my work is in healthcare, patient- and provider-facing, medtech, and B2B. I'm comfortable working with clinical, scientific, and engineering content — and turning it into copy that's clear, accurate, and approachable without dumbing anything down.

My approach is friendly and collaborative, and I'm not a prima donna who will explode if you move a comma!

  1. Intro call We talk through your goals, audience, deliverables, and timeline. I’ll ask questions, you fill in the details.
  2. Scope & estimate You’ll receive a written scope of work with a fixed project fee and expected schedule. If you’re still exploring options, I’m happy to provide a ballpark range first.
  3. Project kickoff I review your background materials and outline the approach (or initial creative concepts, if applicable).
  4. Drafts & revisions You review, we discuss feedback, and I refine the copy – typically across two rounds of revisions.
  5. Final copy Deliverables are provided on time and ready for your design, development, or production team.
