About Biointel

Why hire Biointel vs. an agency?

When you work with Biointel, you work directly with a senior-level marketing professional with 25 years of healthcare experience. There are no junior handoffs, no layers of account management, and no disconnect between strategy and execution.

Without the overhead of a traditional agency—no large staff, no unnecessary departments, no inflated costs—you’re paying only for the marketing and copywriting services that move your business forward.

Most importantly, I’m accountable for the work from start to finish. That means faster decisions, clearer communication, and work that stays aligned with your objectives at every stage.

In short, you get agency-level thinking without agency-level complexity or cost.

What’s your superhero strength?

My ability to translate complex healthcare and technical information into clear, compelling language that resonates with different audiences.

In healthcare marketing, that often means speaking to physicians, administrators, and patients—all of whom need different things from the same message. I bridge that gap so your marketing is not only accurate, but also accessible, persuasive, and effective.

What types of companies do you work with?

I’ve worked with organizations of all sizes, from small businesses to the Fortune 500. With Biointel, I focus exclusively on healthcare.

That includes medical device, equipment, and technology companies, as well as hospitals, clinics, ASCs, distributors, physician groups, and startups. If your business operates in healthcare, there’s a strong chance I can add value.

Collaboration

How will we work together?

I believe the best work comes from clear communication and collaboration. I involve clients at key points throughout the process to keep everything aligned, on track, and on budget.

Your input starts with the brief that guides the project and continues through drafts, prototypes, rough cuts, production stages, and final delivery. We’ll define these milestones upfront, so you know exactly when and how you’ll be involved.

This approach ensures there are no surprises—just steady progress toward a result we’re both confident in.

Can you work with internal teams?

Absolutely. I work comfortably with internal teams, as well as external partners, vendors, and consultants. Collaboration is a core part of how I operate.

Over the course of my career, I’ve supported marketing, R&D, sales, HR, and executive leadership teams. I’ve also worked alongside a wide range of external partners, including research firms, developers, designers, and production teams.

Depending on your needs, I can integrate seamlessly into your existing structure or take a more active role in guiding the work. Either way, the goal is the same—aligned teams and stronger results.

Scope, Timing, and Results

What if I’m unhappy with your work?

My goal is to make sure we never get to that point. I build in regular check-ins and feedback loops throughout the process so we stay aligned and can adjust early if needed.

If we do reach an impasse—which is rare—I’ll propose a fair kill fee based on the project’s level of completion. That said, my focus is always on clear communication, thoughtful revisions, and staying aligned with your objectives so we can move forward with confidence.

How can you make my website more effective?

I make websites more effective by aligning them with your business objectives and improving how they attract, engage, and convert the right audience.

In healthcare marketing, your website is one of your most important assets. It builds awareness, generates leads, educates customers, and differentiates your offering. When it underperforms, it weakens every tactic driving traffic to it—social media, SEO, digital ads, trade shows, and sales efforts—and it hits you where it matters most: the bottom line.

My process starts with understanding your goals, the results you want to achieve, and the gap between where you are and where you need to be. From there, I analyze the factors that influence performance—how traffic is generated, how visitors engage with your content, and how effectively the site supports conversion.

I then provide clear, prioritized recommendations based on analytics and real-world impact. Together, we can build a plan and budget that focuses on the changes most likely to improve performance.

What kinds of results can I expect?

The goal is measurable improvement in how your marketing performs—whether that’s increased engagement, stronger lead generation, higher conversion rates, or better overall efficiency.

I start by understanding your objectives and aligning them with the right metrics, such as conversions, engagement quality, click-through rates, or revenue impact. I also use industry benchmarks as a reference point and aim to exceed them.

Marketing performance is influenced by multiple channels working together—digital, print, sales, and more—so it’s not always possible to attribute results to a single tactic. That said, we can track meaningful trends, identify what’s working, and focus on the changes most likely to improve outcomes.

In short, the goal isn’t just activity—it’s measurable progress toward your business objectives.

Do you work on a project basis or an ongoing retainer?

Project work is my preferred model. It’s clear what you’ll receive, and you don’t have to worry about wonky charges for meetings, briefs, or calls—it’s all-inclusive, like a resort.

For ongoing needs—reporting, maintenance, or consulting—I offer monthly retainers. These also make sense when your work requires a consistent share of my time.

Pricing & Policies

How much to you charge for your services?

I charge $65/hour. I work efficiently—leveraging AI tools and years of experience to quickly get up to speed on healthcare and technology topics.

For most projects, I’ll provide a clear estimate upfront based on your specifications. Just send over the details, and I’ll get back to you with a quote.

If you have questions, feel free to reach out via my contact page or call me at +1 (513) 967-5848.

What about the fine print?

There isn’t any. Everything I communicate is in plain language—and 12-point type or larger.

Unless the scope changes, you pay the price I quote. Every estimate clearly outlines the scope, deliverables, timeline, and policies on payment, revisions, and copyright.

All the details, none of the surprises.

Will you do a free web audit?

I don’t offer free audits—and there’s a reason. Most “free” audits are designed to sell SEO or development services, not to provide a truly objective plan.

My approach is strategic and independent. I start by understanding how your website fits into your overall marketing mix—how traffic is generated, what role the site plays, and what success looks like for your organization.

From there, I deliver a structured analysis with clear, prioritized recommendations based on impact and cost. You’re free to use it as a roadmap—whether you work with another team or me.

Send me your URL, and I’ll provide a quote outlining exactly what the audit includes.

Will you do spec work?

No. My time is valuable, and I don’t work for free in the hope of winning business.

What I will provide is a detailed proposal outlining my strategy, recommended tactics, budget, and timeline—so you can make an informed decision.

AI

Do you use AI?

AI is essential—but it never replaces judgment.

I use it to reduce research time, analyze markets, build scenarios, organize notes, and streamline workflows. That efficiency allows me to take on a wider range of projects while staying focused on strategy and creative thinking.

With AI handling the heavy lifting, I can apply 25 years of experience to uncover unconventional ideas and develop work that stands out. I generally don’t use AI for writing—but if I do, I’ll be transparent about it.
